Vincent achieved his Ph.D. degree in the university, majoring in integrated circuit design. He had been a visiting scholar at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center of the University of California, Los Angeles. 

During a visit to an assistive devices exhibition, learning that visual aid technology could help people with low vision study and live better, Vincent sparked a passion in his heart. He made the decision of establishing a company for developing visual aid products and helping more visually impaired patients. Thus, Zoomax was born!

"What excites me most is that when we developed our first digital magnifier and delivered it to our users, they told us how much they loved them. Later, we developed more and more low-vision aids with new-tech, changing the lives of tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of people. Every time when we hear the user feedback with their thanks and thoughts, my team and I are deeply inspired! We believe: we are doing the right thing! As long as our users need us, we will keep exploring the new world with them together!"
